3-5 years IT experience in a support role
? Windows 2000 * 2003 MCP * MCSE or equivalent experience in a systems role
? A good understanding of TCP*IP, DNS, WINS and SNMP and practical experience of implementing and troubleshooting these.
? A good knowledge of the Compaq * HP server range and experience of Compaq * HP Server hardware maintenance is essential.
? Experience of Veritas Netbackup, Veritas BackupExec and tape libraries.
? Experience of installing and configuring Veritas Cluster servers.
? Experience of Storage Area Networks (EMC Clariion preferred)
? Experience of installing and configuring VMWare ESX server and Virtual Centre.
? Knowledge of at least one scripting language(Perl preferred).
? Broad understanding of Technological Framework and awareness of emerging technologies
